Spring Festival Visits Bring Warmth; With Love, Pengfei Warms the Heart

On January 18, the Group’s Trade Union organized a Spring Festival “Warmth‑Sending”慰问 activity. The event was chaired by Zhang Zhiqiang, Vice Chairman of the Group’s Trade Union and head of Shanxi Pengfei Comprehensive Resource Utilization Co., Ltd., with attendance from Lü Xiaofang, Chairwoman of the Group’s Trade Union and Deputy General Manager of Administration; Zhang Zhilong, Deputy General Manager of Coking and Plant Manager of Pengfei Coking Plant; Tian Jian’en, Deputy Plant Manager for Production at Xinyu Coking Plant; and other relevant officials. They presented condolence gifts and cash assistance to 17 employees facing financial hardship.

At the outset of the ceremony, Lü Xiaofang, Chairperson of the Group’s Trade Union and Deputy General Manager of Administration, Zhang Zhilong, Deputy General Manager of Coking and Plant Director of Pengfei Coking Plant, and Wu Zhicai, representative of the grassroots trade union chairpersons and Director of the Comprehensive Office at Chunhui Station Platform, each presented condolence payments and care packages to 17 employees facing financial hardship.

At the subsequent exchange meeting between the Group’s Trade Union and employees facing difficulties, the attending leaders engaged in warm conversations with the workers, carefully inquiring about their living conditions, family circumstances, and employment status. The employees unanimously expressed their gratitude for the care and concern shown by the Group and the Trade Union, pledging to remain committed to their posts, perform their duties diligently, and contribute their efforts to advancing Pengfei’s modernization.

Zhang Zhilong stated that Pengfei’s mission is to bring happiness to those who are committed to the company’s cause. The Group has always shown deep concern and care for its employees, striving to provide them with support—both material and spiritual. He also encouraged young employees to prioritize advancing their education and honing their skills, emphasizing that only by improving their income and benefits can they truly address their practical challenges. Older employees, too, were urged to value lifelong learning and to place great importance on their children’s education. In response, the coking‑chemicals division has developed targeted talent‑development programs, ensuring comprehensive, well‑structured training tailored to specific needs, thereby helping families facing hardship achieve genuine happiness, peace, and warmth.

In her concluding remarks, Lü Xiaofang stated that this visit and symposium were not merely an act of showing care, but also a gesture to bolster confidence and inspire hope. She emphasized that Pengfei Group’s steady and comprehensive development has provided employees with secure, stable incomes, and that the harder one works, the greater one’s good fortune.
