In early 2022, Fengtian Special Vehicle Co., Ltd., a controlled subsidiary of Pengfei Group, obtained commercial vehicle whole-vehicle manufacturing qualifications and began developing and producing hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks and buses, as well as new-energy heavy-duty trucks and buses.
Industrial Park Overview
In Xiaoyi, Shanxi Province, Pengfei Zhichuang Automotive Manufacturing Industrial Park has been established, leveraging equipment manufacturing as its core and encompassing five production lines. The park is committed to becoming an internationally leading, domestically first‑class industrial hub for hydrogen‑powered vehicle manufacturing and the production of key components.
Production Capacity and Efficiency
Upon completion, the project is expected to generate an annual output value of RMB 130 billion, contribute RMB 19.5 billion in profits and taxes, and create more than 3,000 jobs, thereby providing strong impetus for local economic development and the expansion of the hydrogen energy industry.
