Taking advantage of the successful convening of the China Listed Companies Industrial Upgrade (Taiyuan) Summit and the 2023 Third Shanxi Capital Market Transformation and Development Conference, a promotional event for 100 listed companies was held at Pengfei Group on November 18. At the meeting, Li Xiaochun, on behalf of the Xiaoyi Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, extended a warm welcome to all the business representatives attending the promotional event. He emphasized that the new Xiaoyi is brimming with fresh opportunities and radiating a vibrant new spirit. With the Xiaoyi Economic Development Zone as its main battleground, the city has vigorously cultivated key industrial chains such as Pengfei’s hydrogen energy sector and the cultural‑tourism‑healthcare industry. In his address, Zheng Peng stated that Pengfei’s 30-year journey of development has been made possible by the Party’s sound policies and by the continuously improved business environment fostered by Party committees and governments at all levels. To support the realization of the “dual carbon” goals, Pengfei has positioned hydrogen energy as a key enabler for the low‑carbon and zero‑carbon transformation of its traditional energy sector, strategically planning and developing a complete hydrogen‑energy industrial chain. The company is actively building Xiaoyi into a specialized town renowned for its hydrogen‑energy industry, striving to fundamentally reshape residents’ energy consumption patterns and enable humanity to benefit from Pengfei’s hydrogen‑energy products, with both logistics and passenger flows powered entirely by hydrogen‑fuelled vehicles. At the meeting, representatives from Shanxi Province’s Industrial Fund and the Shanxi Bureau of the Securities Daily each delivered remarks from the perspectives of finance and media, enabling attendees to gain a deeper understanding—through Pengfei’s development—of the synergistic integration of Shanxi’s real economy and capital markets, and to recognize the inevitable trend toward accelerating the country’s transformation into a financial powerhouse.

Following the meeting, representatives from a hundred listed companies visited the 5G+ Central Dispatch and Command Center, the Urban Hydrogen‑Recharging Integrated Energy Island, the Pengfei Coking Plant, the Methanol‑to‑Hydrogen Heat‑Source Plant, the Pengwan Hydrogen Port Hydrogen Industry Park, the Water Electrolysis Green Hydrogen Project, and the Pengwan Hydrogen Port Central Control Center. They gained an in-depth understanding of Pengfei’s 30‑year development journey, its industrial structure, its strategic planning across the entire hydrogen energy value chain, and its practical application achievements.
