The Party and Government Delegation of Lingshi County Conducted an Observation and Research Visit to Pengfei.

On November 15, Han Jun, Secretary of the Lingshi County Party Committee; Chen Fang, Deputy Secretary of the County Party Committee and County Mayor; Zhou Yongdong, Deputy Secretary of the County Party Committee; Wu Lijun, Director of the County People’s Congress; Su Jinhua, Chairman of the County Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference; along with leaders from the County Party Committee, People’s Congress, Government, CPPCC, the County Procuratorate, and the Lingshi Economic Development Zone, paid a visit to Pengfei for observation and research. They conducted an on-site assessment of Pengfei’s hydrogen energy industry project layout, its capabilities in hydrogen‑energy equipment manufacturing and operations, and the achievements it has made across the entire hydrogen‑energy value chain—covering production, storage, and utilization. Feng Guangyuan, Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of the Xiaoyi Economic Development Zone, and other officials accompanied the delegation, while Zheng Peng, Chairman of the Board and President of Pengfei Group, extended a warm welcome.

The delegation visited the Pengwan Hydrogen Port Hydrogen Industry Park, the Central Control Center, and the water electrolysis green hydrogen project, conducting on-site inspections. They closely examined the project’s construction achievements and process flows, and gained an in-depth understanding of the Pengfei Chemical Industrial Park, the broader context of hydrogen energy development, the overall industrial plan for the hydrogen sector, as well as the status of hydrogen production, refueling, applications, equipment manufacturing, and efforts to establish a specialized town dedicated to the hydrogen economy. Han Jun also sought detailed information on the application of hydrogen fuel cell power systems, hydrogen storage, and hydrogen production costs.

Zheng Peng provided a detailed overview of the Pengfei industrial cluster and its comprehensive, end-to-end industrial chain, emphasizing that the hydrogen energy sector, as a strategic emerging industry, represents a key strategic choice for accelerating the transformation and upgrading of the energy system and fostering new drivers of economic growth. In terms of expanding the hydrogen energy value chain, Shanxi Province enjoys distinct locational and resource advantages. Pengfei is firmly focused on extending and strengthening the hydrogen industry’s supply chain, promoting multi‑sectoral applications of hydrogen, advancing the development of specialized towns centered on hydrogen technologies, and vigorously championing zero‑carbon smart logistics. Through these efforts, the company is forging new business models and a new economy in the hydrogen energy sector, continuously injecting momentum into the province’s high‑quality development and modernization.

Han Jun and others fully commended Pengfei’s achievements in developing the entire hydrogen‑energy value chain. Han Jun emphasized that Pengfei has demonstrated clear advantages through its forward‑looking planning and strategic positioning, with hydrogen‑energy applications spanning a wide range of sectors.
