3 month 24 On [date], Yang Baoying, Honorary President of CIMC Enric’s Hydrogen Energy Business Center, and his delegation paid a visit to Pengfei Group. The two sides held an exchange and discussion on advancing the implementation of the “hydrogen‑tank‑for‑fuel” operating model for hydrogen‑powered heavy‑duty trucks in Lüliang, reaching a consensus that will accelerate the commercialization and large‑scale deployment of such vehicles.

The hydrogen‑powered heavy‑truck “hydrogen‑tank swapping” operating model, leveraging a technical approach of “vehicle–tank separation, centralized refueling, and rapid exchange,” relies on standardized hydrogen storage tank modules to enable operations at hydrogen‑swap stations. 3-5 Minute‑level automated rapid refueling revolutionizes the traditional hydrogen‑fueling paradigm. This approach significantly enhances the efficiency of hydrogen‑powered heavy‑truck refueling, effectively reduces acquisition and operating costs, and enables centralized lifecycle management of hydrogen storage tanks, marking a major breakthrough in the hydrogen‑powered heavy‑truck refueling ecosystem.

At present, the country is accelerating the development of pilot projects for the comprehensive application of hydrogen energy, and the hydrogen energy industry has entered a critical phase of high-quality growth. The Lüliang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government attach great importance to hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks. Hydrogen cylinder purging Adopting a new operational model, this approach is being leveraged as a key driver for breakthroughs in the hydrogen energy industry, supporting enterprises in pioneering trials and overcoming critical challenges. Pengfei Group will build on its experience with large-scale operations of hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks, collaborating with Anruike to break through technical barriers and accelerate technology deployment. Pilot applications will be launched in Lüliang City, with the aim of establishing a replicable and scalable operational model ahead of others. At the same time, by identifying issues through practical application and refining pathways through ongoing exploration, the company will actively support the implementation of relevant policies and regulations, paving the way and opening up new prospects for the high-quality development of China’s hydrogen energy sector.
