7 month 19 On the morning of [date], Ding Wenjiang, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Director of the Hydrogen Science Center at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Director of the National Engineering Center for Precision Forming of Light Alloys, paid a visit to Pengfei Group to conduct a research tour focused on technological innovation in hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks. Li Yongsheng, a leader of Lüliang City, along with Xue Zhiqiang, Li Yingbin, and Liu Jian, leaders of Xiaoyi City, accompanied the delegation. Following an on-site inspection of the Pengfei Zhichuang Automotive Manufacturing Industrial Park, Academician Ding Wenjiang highly commended Pengfei’s strategic leadership in the R&D of core components for hydrogen‑powered heavy‑duty trucks and in building a comprehensive industrial chain. Drawing on the global forefront of scientific research, he put forward targeted recommendations on key technological challenges in hydrogen‑truck manufacturing and pathways for industrial upgrading. The two parties reached a significant consensus and formalized their intention to establish a “Dual‑Hydrogen” strategic partnership. Ding Wenjiang emphasized that Shanghai Jiao Tong University will leverage its strengths in fundamental research, applied technology development, and the cultivation of high‑caliber talent, working hand in hand with Pengfei Group to co‑build a high‑level industry–university–research collaborative innovation platform, thereby injecting robust core momentum into Pengfei’s breakthroughs in hydrogen‑powered heavy‑duty truck technology.
Zheng Peng stated that Pengfei will take this research visit as an opportunity to comprehensively deepen strategic collaboration with top institutions such as Shanghai Jiao Tong University, closely leveraging local strengths and robust policy support.
