On October 30, the “Voice of the Times—A Tribute to Entrepreneurial Spirit and the First Xiaoyi City Private Enterprise Day Themed Event,” hosted by the Xiaoyi Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, was grandly held at the city’s sports stadium. In his address, Zheng Peng, as a representative of outstanding entrepreneurs, stated that over the past 30-plus years since its founding, Pengfei has grown—thanks to the care and support of the municipal Party committee and government—from a small coal‑coking workshop into a continuously improving Fortune China 500 company. Notably, it has taken the lead in planning the development of a complete hydrogen‑energy industrial chain, becoming the nation’s first enterprise to operate hydrogen‑energy applications on a fully commercial scale, the “chain leader” of Shanxi Province’s hydrogen‑energy industrial chain, and the chair unit of the Shanxi Hydrogen Energy Industry Alliance. As a result, hydrogen energy has become a shining hallmark of Xiaoyi’s new‑type productive forces, earning widespread attention and acclaim from across China and around the world.
