On October 9, Liang Zhiqiang, a second-level inspector with the Shanxi Provincial Federation of Trade Unions; Yang Zhiming, Party Secretary and Executive Vice Chairman of the Lüliang Municipal Federation of Trade Unions; and Yang Tuan, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Xiaoyi Municipal People’s Congress and Chairman of its Federation of Trade Unions, jointly presented an award plaque to Pengfei Group. The group’s Vice President and Union Chairman, Lü Xiaofang, accepted the plaque.
Over the years, as Pengfei Group has steadily expanded its operations, it has introduced innovative measures to support employees’ career development, ensure effective channels for voicing concerns, foster participation in corporate governance, and safeguard workers’ rights. The company has made its production and operational profits publicly available, established platforms such as innovation studios, Pengfei University, and postdoctoral workstations, and integrated offline mechanisms—such as employee representative assemblies and liaison stations/points for deputies to the People’s Congress—with online channels like direct feedback hotlines and the “Pengxin Harbor” initiative. These efforts have effectively engaged employees in corporate governance, fostering a win-win, shared‑value model that benefits both the enterprise and its workforce.
Throughout this process, Pengfei’s employees have progressively undergone a “transformation of identity,” moving from frontline workers to skilled technicians and ultimately to intelligent craftsmen; they have achieved a “rise in status,” advancing from ordinary laborers to “Three Representatives” and “Three Committees” members, and then to national and provincial/municipal model workers and master craftsmen; and they have seen a “growth in benefits,” with wages, allowances, and welfare all increasing. As a result, employees’ sense of gain, happiness, and security has steadily strengthened.
Since the beginning of this year, Pengfei has successively been awarded such honors as the National Workers’ Vanguard Title, Shanxi Province Model Collective, Shanxi Province May Day Labor Award, and designation as a pilot unit in the second batch of Shanxi Province’s “Healthy Living, Happy Enterprise” initiative.
Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission and other relevant ministries have been systematically implementing a comprehensive package of additional policies, sending positive signals on supporting businesses, expanding the energy economy, and stabilizing real estate development. This has bolstered Pengfei’s confidence in its growth, strengthened the resolve of its employees, and further solidified the shared destiny between the company and its workforce.
