On September 10, a joint launch event for unmanned robotic products from Pengfei Group and Syntec Robot Group was held at Pengfei’s headquarters, under the theme “Unmanned Mining Operations: Smart Technology Illuminates the Future.” Bringing together two companies at the forefront of technological innovation and with the most promising growth prospects, the event showcased, in front of an audience of more than 200 attendees, the latest mining‑robot technologies developed by Syntec and their potential applications within Pengfei’s specific operational scenarios.

Hu Kunyuan, Chairman of Shenyang New Song under the New Song Group, and Li Yang, President of Operations at Pengfei Group, attended the event and delivered remarks, jointly expressing their anticipation that this cross-industry, deep‑level collaboration—described as a “mutual pursuit”—will inject new momentum into the intelligent transformation of traditional industries.

Zheng Zihao, Vice President of Pengfei Group, and Zhang Jin, President of Shenyang New Song, jointly unveiled the park’s unmanned robots and the underground mining unmanned robots.

In his address, Zhang Jin pointed out that, in response to the “dual carbon” goals, the state has introduced a series of policies, laying a solid market foundation for the intelligent transformation of mines and the application and widespread adoption of mining robots. With improving efficiency and ensuring safety as its guiding principles, and drawing on Pengfei Group’s diverse and complex mine‑production environments and application needs, the company is leveraging Syntec’s robust R&D capabilities and technological innovation to comprehensively drive the transformation and upgrading of China’s coal industry, thereby contributing Chinese wisdom and strength to the world.

Zheng Zihao stated that, over the long term, Pengfei Group has proactively explored and boldly experimented in upholding intrinsic safety and advancing green transformation, passionately embracing new‑type productive forces through concrete actions. The company has provided real‑world production settings and built practical platforms for the R&D and implementation of digital‑intelligence projects. He expressed gratitude to Syntec for partnering with Pengfei, looking forward to deepened collaboration that will fully unleash core productive capacity, support the development of green mines, and serve as a model for the energy sector’s transformation and upgrading.

He Gang, Chairman of Beijing Sinobo, Guan Teng, Chairman of Tianjin Sinobo, and other relevant officials, along with technical leaders from the various subsidiaries and mines of Pengfei Group, attended the event.

Following the press conference, attendees had the opportunity to observe a live demonstration of the robot up close.

Currently, the latest model of Siasun’s unmanned robot has been put into trial operation at the Changxin Coal Mine, a subsidiary of Pengfei. Compared with other robotic models, this new product not only autonomously performs routine equipment inspections and anomaly monitoring but also precisely operates equipment controls, simultaneously conducts intelligent data analysis and issue alerts, thereby significantly enhancing monitoring accuracy and inspection efficiency. Following its successful deployment, the system will further advance the vision of unmanned, intelligent underground operations, achieving intrinsic safety through fully automated, unmanned mining environments.

The collaboration between Pengfei and SINOMACH is rooted in both parties’ deep conviction that technology empowers corporate growth and places the well-being of employees above all else. This partnership represents not only an inevitable choice for leveraging complementary strengths and sharing resources, but also a profound insight into—and a shared commitment to—the digital transformation trends shaping the future of the energy industry.
