Pengfei’s digital transformation has once again been recognized with a national honor, earning the “Trusted Cloud 2023–2024 User Best Practice” award.

On July 23, the 11th Trusted Cloud Conference was successfully held in Beijing, hosted by the China Communications Standards Association, organized by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, and co-organized by the Cloud Computing Standards and Open Source Promotion Committee of the China Communications Standards Association. Thanks to its innovative practices in the cloud computing field, Pengfei Group, along with more than ten other organizations including FAW Group and China Pacific Life Insurance, was awarded the “Trusted Cloud 2023–2024 User Best Practice” prize by the conference organizing committee.

This prestigious honor not only underscores Pengfei Group’s outstanding achievements in building hyper-converged infrastructure platforms, but also highlights the tangible results of its efforts to drive digital transformation. It has effectively enhanced the company’s overall operational efficiency and level of digital intelligence, strengthened its operational governance framework, and enabled proactive identification and mitigation of operational risks, positioning Pengfei as a leading industry benchmark and model.

Under the theme “Cloud‑Driven New Era of Intelligence: Advancing Together Toward a Trusted Future,” the conference unveiled the Top Ten Keywords for Cloud Computing in 2024, presented an analysis of the “Cloud Computing White Paper (2024),” launched demonstration projects for AI‑computing ecosystem–wide software‑hardware collaboration and the AI Cloud MSP Technical Service Laboratory, and announced the latest results of the 2024 Trusted Cloud assessment along with best practices.

As one of China’s Top 500 enterprises, Pengfei Group has consistently integrated green and innovative development in the energy sector, striving to build a secure, green, smart, intensive, and efficient clean‑energy supply system and a modern industrial framework. In 2022–2023, two of its subsidiaries were respectively included in the “Shanxi Province 2022 Provincial-Level Smart Manufacturing Demonstration Enterprises” and “Shanxi Province 2023 Provincial-Level Smart Manufacturing Demonstration Enterprises” lists; additionally, one technology upgrade project was selected for the “Shanxi Province 2022 Provincial-Level Smart Manufacturing Benchmark Project” list. In January 2024, a digital mine‑construction case was honorably recognized as an “Outstanding Case of Digital Mine Integration and Development to Enhance Inherent Safety in 2023”; in February, within the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s 2023 list of demonstration projects for the integrated development of next‑generation information technology and manufacturing, Pengfei’s coal‑industry digital operations and control project was chosen for the “Demonstration List under the New Capability‑Building Direction for Production‑Manufacturing Digital Twins within the Two‑Integration Management System Standardization Initiative.”

As a key industry‑wide evaluation standard, Trusted Cloud was launched in 2013. Over the past 11 years, its service assessment framework has steadily matured, and its suite of standards and evaluation outcomes have become an important reference for government support, industry regulation, and user decision‑making. This year’s Trusted Cloud Conference focused on hot topics such as artificial intelligence and intelligent computing services, and unveiled the latest research findings from the industry.
