On June 3, a delegation led by Yang Hao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and District Mayor of Jinan District, Tianjin, visited Pengfei. They held an exchange meeting with Zheng Peng, Chairman of the Board and President of Pengfei Group, among others, to discuss ways to deepen the coordinated development of exhibitions and commerce, promote the integration of science, education, and industry, and foster new‑type productive forces.

At the meeting, Yang Hao provided an overview of Jinan District, highlighting its locational advantages, ecological environment, cultural heritage, transportation network, industrial base, and strengths in science, education, and talent. He stated that Jinan District is strategically leveraging its three key assets—ecology, science and education, and conventions and exhibitions—to advance the integrated development of science, education, and industry; of conventions, exhibitions, and commerce; and of agriculture, culture, and tourism. By capitalizing on the platform and policy advantages of the Tiankai Jinan Park, harnessing the scientific, educational, and talent‑driven strengths of the Haihe Education Park, and drawing on the industrial and infrastructure advantages of the Jinan Economic Development Zone, the district is fostering deep integration across the innovation chain, the industrial chain, the talent chain, the supply chain, and the financial chain.

Yang Hao pointed out that Pengfei is among the national leaders in developing the entire hydrogen energy industry chain. He expressed the hope that Pengfei will integrate Tianjin’s Jinan District’s three key strengths into its corporate strategy, while Jinan District will provide comprehensive support—covering exhibition‑and‑convention economics, technology transfer, and green manufacturing—to help both parties achieve high‑quality development.

Zheng Peng welcomed the delegation from the Jinnan District of Tianjin, expressed his gratitude for the district’s care and support, and provided a brief overview of Pengfei Group. He noted that Jinnan District holds three key strengths—ecology, science and education, and conventions and exhibitions—boasting a distinct locational advantage, a solid industrial foundation, and strong development momentum. Pengfei will leverage its expertise in the integrated development of the entire hydrogen‑energy value chain, identify synergies with Jinnan District, continuously expand application scenarios, and deepen cooperation in areas such as exhibition‑oriented特色小镇, the integrated development of science, education, and industry, and new energy. Together, they will write a new chapter of high‑quality enterprise‑district collaboration.

Prior to the meeting, Yang Hao and his delegation visited several sites, including the Urban Hydrogen‑Recharging Integrated Energy Island, the Pengwan Hydrogen Port Central Control Center, and the 5G‑Plus Central Dispatch and Command Management Center, where they gained an in-depth understanding of Pengfei’s overall hydrogen‑energy industry plan, equipment deployment, R&D efforts, and the achievements of its 5G‑enabled smart‑technology initiatives.
