Pengfei Group and Tianjin Rongcheng Group Held a Symposium; Leaders from Multiple Sides Attended.

 

On April 23, Zheng Zihao, Vice President of Pengfei Group, led a delegation to Tianjin Rongcheng Group for a symposium on industrial development and cooperation. Attending the meeting were Sun Wenxiu, Deputy Director of the Tianjin Municipal Development and Reform Commission; Sun Ren, Chief Engineer of the Tianjin Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau; Xue Tong, Deputy District Mayor of Jinan District, Tianjin; and Zhang Lihua, Director and Vice President of Rongcheng Group as well as Chairman of Rongcheng New Energy Group. Also present were Chai Shuman, Deputy Secretary of the Rongcheng Group Party Committee and Secretary of the Rongcheng Steel Group Party Committee; Chen Feng, Vice President of Rongcheng Group and Deputy General Manager of Rongcheng Steel Group; and Tian Zhenguo, Vice President of Pengfei Group.

 

 

Zhang Lihua extended a warm welcome to Zheng Zihao and his delegation, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the Tianjin Municipal Government, Jinnan District, and Gego Town for their care and support of Rongcheng Group. He stated that Rongcheng Group has proactively aligned itself with the national and regional drive for high-quality development, resonating in harmony with both the nation and the local community. The Group remains committed to breaking new ground through innovation and advancing enterprise growth through pragmatic action, striving to strengthen and refine its core steel business while enhancing synergies across its diversified industries. Rongcheng Group and Pengfei Group share strong strategic and operational alignment, and he expressed hope that the two sides will engage in in-depth exchanges across multiple sectors—including coke production, third-party payments, logistics and transportation, and hydrogen energy applications—strengthening coordination and cooperation to achieve mutual benefit and shared prosperity. Together, they will accelerate progress in cultivating new‑generation productive forces and jointly inject robust momentum into regional development.

 

 

Zheng Zihao expressed his admiration for Rongcheng Group’s commitment to its core steel business while expanding into emerging sectors such as hydrogen energy, achieving synergistic diversification. He also provided a detailed overview of Shanxi Pengfei Group’s development journey, its business portfolio, and its future vision. He noted that Pengfei Group is a digitally intelligent, green enterprise integrating coal, coking, chemical processing, power generation, hydrogen energy, smart logistics, real estate, and cultural‑tourism industries. Building on its traditional industrial foundation, the group has entered the new‑energy sector and is developing a leading hydrogen‑energy brand. Pengfei Group will establish a dedicated task force, streamline its services, and actively engage in coordination and collaboration with Rongcheng. He looks forward to a strategic partnership between the two companies—leveraging their respective strengths to achieve complementary advantages, jointly drive high‑quality growth, and work together to contribute positively to regional economic prosperity and to energy conservation and emissions reduction.

The Tianjin Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau, and the Jinnan District Government all extended strong support to this event. Leaders personally accompanied participants and took part in symposiums, leveraging their strategic vision for advancing the city’s economic development to facilitate cooperation between the two sides, provide guidance and services, and foster a favorable business environment and collaborative atmosphere—thereby creating opportunities to drive high-quality enterprise growth.

 

 

During the symposium, Sun Wenxiu stated that Tianjin has been actively implementing the new development philosophy and the new energy security strategy, adapting to the evolving landscape of energy development, strengthening diversified security safeguards, and vigorously promoting a green, low‑carbon energy transition. The city is striving to become a pioneer in the energy revolution and achieve high‑quality energy development. Rongcheng Group has established demonstration projects for hydrogen‑energy applications, driving growth through concrete actions and delivering tangible results, thereby aligning closely with Pengfei’s strategic direction and opening up broad prospects for cooperation. The Municipal Development and Reform Commission will continue to support enterprises in fostering interconnectedness, mutual assistance, and win‑win outcomes, intensify its service efforts, refine relevant support policies, and remove obstacles to ensure smooth business operations. It is hoped that Pengfei and Rongcheng will leverage their respective strengths, explore new models of collaboration, and jointly contribute to advancing regional energy transformation and high‑quality development.

 

 

Sun Ren stated that Tianjin Municipality, guided by the vision of building a pioneering zone for a Beautiful China, is continuously improving ecological and environmental quality and accelerating the comprehensive green transformation of its economic and social development. As leading regional enterprises, Pengfei Group and Rongcheng Group each possess distinct advantages and robust capabilities, offering substantial potential for multi‑level, cross‑sectoral, and highly complementary cooperation. The Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau will provide full support for enterprises in advancing green and low‑carbon projects, and looks forward to deeper collaboration between Pengfei and Rongcheng in areas such as hydrogen‑powered heavy‑duty trucks and green logistics, jointly driving high‑quality enterprise growth, enhancing air quality, facilitating the transition to clean transportation, and contributing to the establishment of a green development hub while furthering the construction of a pioneering zone for a Beautiful China in Tianjin and the broader Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region.

 

 

Xue Tong, on behalf of the Jinan District Party Committee and District Government, extended a warm welcome to Pengfei Group for its visit and inspection in Jinan. He stated that Jinan District is earnestly implementing the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government’s “Ten Action Plans,” leveraging the unique advantages of its ecological environment, science and education, and convention‑exhibition sectors to vigorously promote high‑quality regional development. Pengfei and Rongcheng boast deep historical roots, with cultural heritage and industrial structures that align closely, underscoring the solid foundation and significant potential for cooperation between the two entities. Rongcheng Group is committed to research and application in the hydrogen energy field, having established multiple demonstration projects for hydrogen‑based applications and actively advancing key initiatives such as the Hydrogen Energy Town. Jinan District will continue to support and serve enterprises, and hopes that Pengfei and Rongcheng will capitalize on the region’s distinctive resources to explore collaborative ventures in hydrogen energy, real estate, and other areas, thereby contributing synergistically to the development of Tianjin Municipality and Jinan District.

 

 

 

 

Prior to the symposium, accompanied by leaders of Rongcheng Group, Zheng Zihao and his delegation also visited Rongcheng’s integrated photovoltaic‑green‑power‑water‑electrolysis‑hydrogen‑refueling station, its oil‑hydrogen hybrid commercial refueling station, the “5G+” Smart Industry Park corporate exhibition hall, and the Intelligent Logistics Platform.

Relevant commissions and bureaus of Jinan District, leaders of the Gegeru Town Party Committee, heads of Pengfei Group’s logistics company and real estate division, as well as responsible officials from Rongcheng New Energy Group, attended the aforementioned event.
