On April 14, an expert panel from Beijing 301 Hospital (the General Hospital of the People’s Liberation Army), comprising six leading authorities in the field—Hu Xiaoyun, a full-time health-care physician for senior military leaders; Sun Baojun, former chief physician of the Respiratory Department at the Second Medical Center of the PLA General Hospital; Liu Gao, a health-care specialist for national and military leaders and former director of the Military Personnel Health Care Institute of the Academy of Military Sciences; Zhang Wei, a full-time health-care physician for senior military leaders and former deputy chief physician of the Jingxi Medical Area at the PLA General Hospital; and Liu Hongwei, a full-time health-care physician for national and military leaders and former head of the Health Department of the Academy of Military Sciences—visited Pengfei’s headquarters to deliver a lively and practical health lecture and engage in a health‑care exchange.

This health lecture and exchange event focused on the key health indicators outlined in the “Healthy China 2030” Plan, which are closely tied to everyday life. By bringing together extensive clinical expertise and professional health insights, the program provided Pengfei’s entire workforce with the most authoritative, comprehensive, and meticulously detailed health guidance and support. The initiative aims to help all employees cultivate a scientifically grounded understanding of health, adopt balanced lifestyles, and foster a healthy, harmonious work environment—ensuring that, while pursuing their professional responsibilities, they can also safeguard their physical and mental well‑being.

Associate Chief Physician Hu Xiaoyun, drawing on her extensive expertise and clinical experience, provided a detailed overview of high-risk factors, screening strategies, prevention, and treatment for common cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases as well as cancers. She encouraged everyone to adopt a healthy lifestyle, cultivate scientifically sound habits, undergo regular health check-ups, maintain a balanced diet, increase physical activity, and steer clear of unhealthy lifestyle choices.

Chief Physician Sun Baojun, using clear and accessible language and rich visual aids, shared expert knowledge on pulmonary infectious diseases by drawing on real clinical cases. He provided detailed explanations of the causes and pathogenesis of upper respiratory tract infections, the origins, classification, clinical manifestations, and diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for pulmonary nodules, and emphasized that “each individual is ultimately responsible for their own health.” He urged everyone to prioritize both physical and mental well‑being, enhance their awareness of prevention and control, place great importance on disease prevention and screening, undergo regular health check-ups, and get vaccinated as early as possible—striving for early detection, early diagnosis, and early treatment.

Following the lecture, the experts engaged in patient, one‑on‑one consultations with employees and their family members, offering professional physiotherapy advice. Employees expressed that, without leaving the workplace, they could access high‑quality medical services, truly experiencing the company’s warmth and care.
This health lecture featured a lively format and substantive content, seamlessly integrating medical theory with clinical practice. It provided employees with highly practical health guidance, thereby strengthening their awareness of self‑management. Pengfei will continue to strengthen its collaboration with China’s leading medical institutions, prioritizing the physical and mental well‑being of employees and their families, and fostering the shared healthy development of both the company and its workforce.
