Pengfei Hydrogen Energy made a remarkable appearance at the Shanxi Specialty Town Investment and Trade Expo.
From June 28 to 30, the inaugural Shanxi Specialty Town Investment and Trade Expo was held in the ancient city of Datong, under the theme “Specialty Towns: Making the Future Brighter.” On the 28th, Pengfei’s high-purity hydrogen equipment, hydrogen energy applications, and equipment manufacturing made a striking appearance at the Xiaoyi Hydrogen Energy Specialty Town exhibit within the Lüliang Pavilion. Provincial Party Secretary Lan Fo’an, Deputy Provincial Party Secretary and Governor Jin Xiangjun, along with other provincial leaders, visited the venue to observe and provide guidance on the development of the specialty towns. Also in attendance were Zhang Guangyong, Deputy Secretary of the Lüliang Municipal Party Committee and Mayor; Guo Qingzhi, Deputy Secretary of the Xiaoyi Municipal Party Committee and Mayor; and Zheng Peng, Chairman of the Board and President of Pengfei Group.
At the Xiaoyi Hydrogen Energy Specialty Town exhibition area in the Lüliang Pavilion, Pengfei Group’s 250 kW hydrogen fuel cell engine, 300 kW stack, Type IV on‑board hydrogen supply system, long‑tube trailer model, hydrogen‑rich water, and hydrogen fuel cell electric bicycle—along with other hydrogen‑related applications and equipment—immediately drew crowds eager to stop and explore. Lan Fo’an and others gained a detailed understanding of the development and deployment of the stack system and the on‑board hydrogen supply system, while Zheng Peng briefed the leaders one by one on Pengfei’s hydrogen energy applications and progress in building the hydrogen energy specialty town. Lan Fo’an encouraged Pengfei to accelerate the construction of the hydrogen energy specialty town, injecting strong momentum into the revitalization of Shanxi’s manufacturing sector, the strengthening of county‑level economies, and the province’s transformation and development.
On the morning of the 29th, Zheng Peng delivered a keynote address titled “Embracing the New Mission of an Energy Enterprise and Building a Trillion‑Yuan Hydrogen‑Energy Industrial Chain” at the Forum on High‑Quality Development of Manufacturing in Specialized Towns. Zheng Peng emphasized that, to support the achievement of the “dual carbon” goals, Pengfei is deepening the energy production and consumption revolution, building a clean, low‑carbon, safe, and efficient energy system, and fostering high‑quality development of the hydrogen‑energy industry. Assumming the mission of a nationally leading energy enterprise, Pengfei is proactively integrating into the national hydrogen‑energy industrial landscape, planning and constructing the Pengwan Hydrogen Port Hydrogen‑Energy Industrial Park—the largest in scale worldwide, with the most complete industrial chain and the most advanced process technologies and equipment—while establishing a modern hydrogen‑energy industrial ecosystem encompassing production, storage, transportation, refueling, application, research, and equipment manufacturing. The company has also launched a nationwide “Zero‑Carbon Smart Logistics Technology Operation and Management Platform.” Furthermore, Pengfei is actively participating in the development of Xiaoyi City as a specialized town for hydrogen energy. By advancing hydrogen‑based power generation, green mobility, hydrogen‑enabled health care, and zero‑carbon logistics, it is fundamentally transforming residents’ energy consumption patterns, enabling more people to enjoy the benefits of hydrogen energy and driving the creation of a trillion‑yuan hydrogen‑energy economy.
