On March 22–23, Qi Zhihong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Shanxi Provincial Tax Service Bureau of the State Taxation Administration, led a delegation to visit Pengfei Group for an on-site inspection. The visit was accompanied by leaders including Guo Qingzhi, Deputy Secretary of the Xiaoyi Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, and was hosted by Zheng Peng, Chairman of the Board and President of Pengfei Group.

Relying on its unique comparative advantages and robust industrial-chain strengths, Pengfei Group has comprehensively launched the Pengwan Hydrogen Port Hydrogen Energy Industrial Park project, integrating production, storage, transportation, refueling, application, and research. Qi Zhihong and his delegation visited Pengfei’s 5G+ Central Dispatch and Command Management Platform, the digital exhibition hall, the methanol-to-hydrogen thermal‑energy plant, the Pengwan Hydrogen Port Hydrogen Energy Industrial Park, and the hydrogen energy integrated control center. After gaining an in-depth understanding of Pengfei’s achievements in digital and intelligent transformation and the progress of its hydrogen‑energy projects, they emphasized that, as a leading enterprise driving Shanxi’s hydrogen‑energy industry and the anchor company of the industrial chain, Pengfei should continue to extend traditional industries downstream and move them toward the high end. It should fully leverage its strengths in hydrogen‑energy R&D, equipment manufacturing, and real‑world applications, further strengthen the “chain‑leader” mechanism, and consistently use technological innovation to steer the high‑quality development of the hydrogen‑energy sector, thereby contributing to the growth and expansion of the province’s hydrogen‑energy industry.

Qi Zhihong emphasized that the tax authorities should proactively innovate their approaches to tax administration and service delivery, effectively implement all tax and fee preferential policies, identify key leverage points for supporting the development of “chain‑leader” enterprises, and apply targeted, sustained efforts to fully help businesses grow in scale, strength, and quality.
