Zhang Guangyong Conducts Spring Festival Inspections and Assessments of Coal Supply Assurance and Workplace Safety Measures

On the morning of January 21, Zhang Guangyong, Deputy Secretary of the Lüliang Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, paid a visit to Shanshi Loujun Group Dancangou Coal Industry Co., Ltd. to supervise and inspect coal‑mine supply‑guarantee and workplace‑safety efforts during the Spring Festival period, and to extend greetings and condolences to cadres and workers who remained on duty at the front lines. Accompanying him were Guo Hongbo, Vice Mayor of Lüliang; Wang Jianqiang, Secretary-General of the Municipal Government; and Zhang Haiwen, Deputy Secretary of the Lishi District Party Committee and District Mayor. The visit was hosted by Zheng Peng, Chairman of the Board and President of Pengfei Group.
At the command and dispatch center, Zhang Guangyong inquired in detail about the on-duty personnel during the Spring Festival, coal production levels, and measures to ensure workplace safety. He also reviewed real-time monitoring data to assess the enterprise’s progress in intelligent fully-mechanized mining and smart mine development. In a video call, he spoke with underground workers who remained on the front lines, extending his New Year greetings and urging them to maintain unwavering vigilance over workplace safety and firmly uphold their responsibilities in this critical area.

We must always remember that safety is of paramount importance, and coal‑mine safety is an ongoing endeavor. Let me emphasize: there is no such thing as “good enough” in coal‑mine safety; there is only “better.” There is no finish line, only a continuous starting point. We must place workplace safety at the very top of our priorities in coal‑mine operations, and on that basis, further enhance production capacity to make new contributions to the nation’s energy security. Once again, I wish all the miners at Dangtangou a happy New Year, and I hope each of you enjoys smooth progress, good health, and auspicious blessings in the Year of the Rabbit!”

Zhang Guangyong emphasized the need to rigorously control every detail, ensuring that safety responsibilities and operational requirements are fully implemented across all processes and work teams. He also stressed the importance of strengthening the development of information‑based, automated, and intelligent mines, leveraging smart upgrades to create an inherently safe production environment and comprehensively enhance both production efficiency and safety performance in coal‑mining enterprises.
