Recently, the Shanxi Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology announced the list of provincial-level pilot and demonstration enterprises for intelligent manufacturing in 2022, including those under Pengfei Group. Pengfei Coking Plant Made the List 。
Following the Methanol-to-Hydrogen Heat‑Source Plant’s designation in 2021 as a provincial-level smart manufacturing demonstration enterprise, another production unit of Pengfei has once again earned this distinction this year. In addition, the plant’s technology‑upgrading and transformation project has recently been recognized as a 2022 provincial-level smart manufacturing benchmark project in Shanxi Province.
In 2022, Pengfei’s coking division, firmly aligned with the overarching goals of “building a green manufacturing system, enhancing resource and energy efficiency, and advancing the integrated development of digitalization, intelligence, and green technologies,” expanded its portfolio of green and low‑carbon offerings—including hydrogen fuel and diverse hydrogen‑based applications.
