On the afternoon of December 19, Wang Zhenwang, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of Xinhua News Agency’s Shanxi Branch, along with Chu Zhanfeng, a member of the Standing Committee of the Xiaoyi Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor, paid a visit to Pengfei Group’s headquarters. They were warmly received by Zheng Peng, Secretary of the Group’s Party Committee, Chairman of the Board, and President. In the presence of all three parties, Xing Ruihui, Deputy Director of the Corporate Culture Development and Management Department, signed a strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of Pengfei Group with Wang Zhenwang, marking the beginning of a new chapter of robust collaboration among government, enterprise, and media to jointly pursue development.
Over the years, with the strong support of the Xiaoyi Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, Pengfei Group and Xinhua News Agency’s Shanxi Branch have engaged in numerous successful exchanges and collaborations. The three parties will fully leverage their respective resources and talent advantages to establish a long-term, comprehensive, and in-depth strategic partnership in areas such as news and information services, thereby providing robust public‑opinion support to enable Pengfei to play a leading role in demonstrating and guiding the development of hydrogen‑powered heavy‑truck applications in Shanxi, accelerate the rapid growth of Pengfei’s entire hydrogen‑energy industrial chain, strengthen and expand Xiaoyi as a key hydrogen‑supply hub, and ultimately realize the vision of transforming “the Coal Capital” into the “Hydrogen Capital.”
