University–Enterprise Collaboration Ushers in a New Chapter; Compassionate Scholarship Demonstrates Commitment

School–enterprise collaboration builds dreams for the future, while charitable scholarship programs bring blessings to generations to come. On November 5, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Xiaoyi Middle School, Pengfei Group held a ceremony in the school’s auditorium to donate an educational fund.

Shi Dongshan, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Mayor of Xiaoyi Municipal Government; Guo Jianhong, Secretary of the Education Working Committee of the Xiaoyi Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group, and Director of the Education Bureau; Zheng Peng, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board, and President of Pengfei Group; and Zhao Yongwang, Secretary of the General Party Branch and Principal of Xiaoyi Middle School, attended the event. Also in attendance were Lü Xiaofang, Deputy Secretary of the Group’s Party Committee and Executive Deputy General Manager; Xing Ruihui, Deputy Director of the Corporate Culture Development and Management Department; as well as members of the leadership team of Xiaoyi Middle School and representatives of teachers and students.

At the ceremony, Zheng Peng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman & President of Pengfei Group, jointly signed a framework agreement on school–enterprise cooperation with Zhao Yongwang, Secretary of the Party General Branch and Principal of Xiaoyi Middle School, followed by a donation and the presentation of a commemorative plaque in return.

Subsequently, Principal Zhao Yongwang delivered a speech of thanks. He stated that Pengfei Group’s donation of an educational fund to Xiaoyi Middle School supports the school’s efforts to cultivate top‑tier, innovative talent and to advance campus football, demonstrating the profound commitment to education shown by this outstanding local enterprise. Xiaoyi Middle School will carefully plan and responsibly utilize this fund, guided by the Pengfei spirit of “loyalty, integrity, unity, and progress” and the Pengfei values of “love, innovation, pragmatism, and leadership,” to inspire its students to study diligently, give back to their hometown, and, through outstanding educational achievements, repay the care and support of higher authorities and Pengfei Group, thereby making even greater contributions to society and the nation.

Chairman Zheng Peng stated that today’s visit to Xiaoyi Middle School and our support for its development would not have been possible without the consistent efforts of the Xiaoyi Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government to improve the business environment and their steadfast support for Pengfei’s endeavors. This donation represents one of the most effective ways for Pengfei to express gratitude to the government and give back to society. We hope that, through this contribution, Xiaoyi Middle School will be able to nurture more outstanding talents—talents who are well‑rounded, highly capable, and aligned with the needs of the nation, the government, and enterprises—thus enabling them to excel on the national stage and on the global horizon.

Vice Mayor Shi Dongshan delivered a concluding address, noting that this donation represents a commendable act of generosity by outstanding entrepreneurs in Xiaoyi City, demonstrating their deep commitment to education and their dedication to supporting students. It also serves as a vivid example of efforts to deliver an education that truly meets the people’s expectations. As a member of the Top 500 Chinese Enterprises, Pengfei Group has consistently fulfilled its social responsibilities, donating to education for many years in a row, thereby fully embodying the selfless spirit of philanthropy and a strong sense of duty. The group’s contribution not only provides powerful impetus for Xiaoyi Middle School to attract high-quality resources and enhance its educational facilities but will also help foster a positive societal climate that respects teachers and values education, encouraging more enterprises to join in this endeavor.

Following the ceremony, the attending leaders also toured the Xiaoyi Middle School Museum of History, jointly experiencing the school’s illustrious legacy of seven decades and its distinguished alumni.

“As Pengfei grows stronger, it will continue to make lasting contributions to students, teachers, and the education sector,” a pledge that has guided its efforts throughout the years—whether by supporting the development of Wutong Education, aiding the construction of Xiaoyi Middle School, or helping primary and secondary schools as well as high schools and universities. Embracing social responsibility has become Pengfei’s unwavering, self‑driven commitment, requiring no further prompting.
