Pengfei Group and the Nankai District Committee of Tianjin held an exchange symposium on cooperation regarding the military‑readiness building project.

On the afternoon of October 18, Pengfei Group and the Nankai District Committee of Tianjin held a symposium in the 12th-floor conference room, during which both sides exchanged views on the progress of their cooperation on the Nankai District War Preparedness Building project.

Nie Weixun, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Nankai District Committee and District Mayor; Hu Xuechun, Member of the Standing Committee of the District Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission; Zhang Zhihua, Deputy District Mayor; Hou Shili, Chairman of the Urban Investment Company; Zheng Peng, Chairman of the Board and President of Pengfei Group; Wu Jianfei, Investment Advisor; Tian Zhenguo, General Manager of the Engineering Project; along with heads of relevant departments, attended the meeting.

 

At the outset of the meeting, Tian Zhenguo provided an overview of Pengfei Group. Attendees then watched a promotional video about Pengfei Group, the CCTV program “Focus Interview” episode titled “Bluer Skies, Clearer Waters, a More Beautiful Home—A Decade of Achievements,” and a promotional film for Nankai District in Tianjin.

 

 

 

Subsequently, Hou Shili, Chairman of the Urban Investment Company, outlined the project’s location, construction area, surrounding road infrastructure, and available supporting resources in the Zhanbei Building project in Nankai District, Tianjin. Sun Jiankun, Director of the Nankai District Education Bureau of Tianjin, provided additional remarks on the educational facilities and resources in the project’s vicinity, noting that the Zhanbei Building site will partner with Nankai Middle School to establish a nine-year integrated school. With robust educational resources, the area is poised to become a premier educational hub in Nankai District and throughout Tianjin within the next three years, attracting residents as their preferred destination for educational development.

 

 

Nie Weixun, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Nankai District Committee and District Mayor of Tianjin, further elaborated on matters related to the Haihe Laboratory in Nankai District, noting that the district’s strengths in science and technology, education, geographic location, and talent are highly complementary to those of Pengfei Group. He expressed his hope that, going forward, Nankai District and Pengfei Group will mutually reinforce one another, pursue coordinated development, and jointly build a comparative advantage for high-quality growth.

Chairman Zheng Peng stated that, following the lifting of high-risk area designations in Xiaoyi City, relevant officials will promptly travel to Nankai District, Tianjin, to conduct an on-site inspection of the combat readiness building project.
