Exchange and Symposium between Pengfei Group and Shenneng Environmental Protection Joint Venture

On the afternoon of September 27, Pengfei Group and Shenneng Environment held a cooperation and exchange meeting on environmental protection business. Attending the event were Ye Zi, Deputy Chief Economist of Shenneng Environment and Deputy General Manager of Suzhou Kehuan; Wang Zhikun, Deputy General Manager of Suzhou Kehuan; Zheng Peng, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board, and President of Pengfei Group; Chang Cheng, Deputy General Manager of Coking and Chemicals at Pengfei Group; as well as other relevant personnel.
At the meeting, Chang Cheng, Deputy General Manager of Coking and Chemicals at Pengfei Group, and Ye Zi, Deputy Chief Economist of Shenneng Environment and Deputy General Manager of Suzhou Kehuan, respectively presented an overview of the joint environmental‑protection venture between Pengfei Group and Shenneng Environment. The two sides then engaged in discussions on the utilization of bulk solid waste.
Li Peng, Technical Director of Suzhou Kehuan, a subsidiary of Shenneng Environment, also presented Suzhou Kehuan’s technologies and case studies in its traditional areas of expertise—such as heavy-metal‑contaminated wastewater, petrochemical and coal‑chemical effluents, and urban stormwater overflows—as well as the company’s development and strategic positioning in emerging business segments like zero‑waste cities and ecological restoration. Chairman Zheng Peng then inquired about the other party’s cooperation needs for this visit.
Ye Zi stated that, in light of the current challenges faced by the methanol plant in wastewater treatment and the preliminary research efforts, Shenneng Environment will provide tailored consulting and services to help alleviate the burdens and pressures associated with subsequent production and operations.
Chairman Zheng Peng emphasized that, in future cooperation, both parties should strive to reduce costs and enhance efficiency while ensuring compliance with established standards. Following the meeting, they will engage in proactive communication and discussions to swiftly implement the proposed plan.
