According to the Human Resources Department, after thorough consultations, Pengfei Group has reached a cooperative teaching agreement with Shanxi Coal Vocational and Technical College and the Xiaoyi City Admissions Committee Office. This marks the first time in the province that Shanxi Coal Vocational and Technical College— which holds independent enrollment authority—has partnered with an enterprise to jointly conduct admissions and instruction. Pursuing academic qualifications, mastering technical skills, and acquiring knowledge—Pengfei employees’ dream of earning a university degree will become a reality in three years. Perhaps none of us would have imagined that joining Pengfei could also open the door to both intellectual growth and formal education. Yet, starting yesterday, this has already turned into reality.
According to the Human Resources Department, Pengfei Group has reached a cooperative education agreement with Shanxi Coal Vocational and Technical College and the Xiaoyi City Admissions Committee Office following thorough consultations. This marks the first time that Shanxi Coal Vocational and Technical College— which holds independent enrollment authority—has partnered with an enterprise to jointly conduct admissions and training on a province-wide scale.
All current employees of Fanpengfei Group who are registered as residents of Xiaoyi (employees from other regions may register through their local admissions office) and hold a high school or secondary vocational school diploma are eligible to register for the National College Entrance Examination at the Xiaoyi City Admissions Committee Office. Upon successful verification of eligibility, they will be directly admitted by Shanxi Coal Vocational and Technical College, which will establish a teaching site within our company. Classes will be organized regularly during off‑work hours, and those who pass the examinations after three years will receive a nationally recognized full-time associate degree.
According to recruitment specialist Yan Zulu, since the announcement was posted last night, more than 20 employees have already gone to the admissions office to register. As of 11:00 a.m. today, 11 candidates have successfully passed the eligibility review and completed their registration.
According to reports, Shanxi Coal Vocational and Technical College is a full-time, associate-degree–level higher vocational institution with a strong emphasis on science and engineering. The college traces its origins to the Shanxi Mining School, founded in 1952, and comprises six academic departments: Mining Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Geodesy and Surveying Engineering, Coal Chemical Engineering, Computer Information, and Finance and Economics. Its graduates have maintained an employment rate of over 95% for many consecutive years.
