On August 4, Pengfei Group held a kickoff meeting for its management consulting project and a specialized training session titled “Building Success Through Organizational Capabilities.” Zhou Yanping, Chief Consulting Expert at Heheng Beijing Consulting Co., Ltd., was invited to share his expertise. Zheng Peng, Chairman of the Board and President of the Group, along with mid- and senior-level executives, attended the training.

Heheng Beijing Consulting Co., Ltd. is a professional service firm dedicated to providing comprehensive strategic design and implementation solutions for large state-owned enterprises, private companies, listed corporations, and growing small and medium-sized enterprises.

At the meeting, Zhou Yanping, Chief Consulting Expert at Heheng Consulting, delivered a training session focusing on two key areas: the planning and scheduling of management consulting projects, and leveraging organizational capabilities to drive the success of Pengfei Group. He emphasized that management consulting is an investment in the future, serving as a form of coaching and acting as an external enabler in the process of a company’s successful growth.

Drawing on the actual needs of Pengfei Group, Zhou Yanping outlined the planned schedule for the management consulting project. He then used a short video showing how long it takes to change four tires on an F1 race car to introduce a specialized training session titled “Building Pengfei Group’s Success Through Organizational Capabilities.” He emphasized that achieving organizational success hinges on leveraging collective capabilities and that division of labor and collaboration are essential for unlocking remarkable efficiency.

Following the presentation of the experts’ reports, Chairman Zheng Peng delivered a concluding address, stating that, after more than a year of management transformation, our vision for transformative development has become increasingly clear. In the tide of the new era, only through continued growth can we better meet and fulfill the aspirations for a better life.

At the meeting, Chairman Zheng Peng used the “pig‑raising model” as a cautionary example to remind leading cadres to cultivate sound values and fundamentally reject such unhealthy practices as managerial tolerance, indulgence, and cover‑ups toward subordinates. He also expressed the hope that the auditing authorities would fully exercise their functions and responsibilities, ensuring effective oversight and accountability.

Chairman Zheng Peng stated that the company’s growth has created more pathways for employees to realize their full potential. By consistently learning through practice and applying what they learn in their work, employees can swiftly transform their capacity for learning into productive output, fostering mutual growth between individuals and the organization. This management training program marks the first step toward advancing professional development in the second half of the year.

Zheng Peng

I hope that all of our cadres and employees present today will take to heart this opportunity for organizational capacity building, performance enhancement, management improvement, and managerial training—ensuring that the team’s core principles, particularly those related to systematization, standardization, and refined management techniques, are firmly embedded in each of our minds. By doing so, we can transform every one of our organizations into a high‑performing, world‑class team, and I am confident that both Pengfei’s continued success and the realization of individual value will only grow stronger.

In addition, Chairman Zheng Peng has instructed the deputy general managers of each regional subsidiary to promptly submit monthly performance evaluation reports on their respective vertical‑line deputy mine managers. Taking the launch of this management consulting project as an opportunity, he has called for a comprehensive enhancement of the training and management capabilities of leaders at all levels, thereby driving the enterprise’s healthy and sustainable growth.
