On the morning of June 21, Wu Hongwen, Party Secretary and Director of the Shanxi Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, led a delegation on an on-site inspection to Shanxi Pengfei’s 5G+ Central Dispatch and Command Management Platform, the Pengwan Hydrogen Port Hydrogen Energy Industrial Park project site, and the Pengfei Coking Plant, among other locations. Accompanying him were Zhang Guangyong, Deputy Secretary of the Lüliang Municipal Party Committee and Mayor; Liu Shiqing, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Lüliang Municipal People’s Congress and Secretary of the Xiaoyi Municipal Party Committee; and Yang Jucái, Vice Mayor of Lüliang City. Zheng Peng, Chairman of the Board and President of Pengfei Group, extended a warm welcome and provided detailed briefings on the relevant matters.
Wu Hongwen highly commended Pengfei’s newly built Pengwan Hydrogen Port Integrated Control Center and specifically inquired about the project’s investment scale, design capacity, construction progress, and other key details. He remarked, “Today’s brilliance is embodied by Pengfei; tomorrow will be even more brilliant,” a slogan he deemed well‑crafted, adding that Pengfei is a fine enterprise. He expressed hope that Pengfei will adopt a long‑term vision, leverage its role as a leading enterprise and flagship project to drive development, continue to extend its industrial value chain, and further elevate the province’s coking industry to a new stage of transformation and upgrading.
In addition, Wu Hongwen and his delegation made a detour to visit the Pengfei Coking Plant, the Pengfei Methanol Plant, and the Pengfei Hydrogen‑Based Integrated Energy Station. At the Pengfei Coking Plant, they gained on-site insights into the advanced features of Pengfei’s dry quenching technology and its current operational status.
