Civilization is the character and underlying essence of a city; in building a civilized city, every individual should contribute their part.
United in purpose, we pool our strength.
To win the tough battle of regaining the national title of Civilized City and to implement the spirit of the important speech delivered by Zheng Peng, Chairman and President of the Pengfei Group, on the citywide sanitation cleanup, and further encourage Party members to “show their identity, clarify their responsibilities, and set an example,” on April 25, the Pengfei Party General Branch organized all Party members from the six branch committees at the Group’s headquarters to carry out a themed Party Day activity titled “Building a Civilized City: Pengfei in Action,” thereby demonstrating, through concrete actions, the strength of Pengfei in supporting Xiaoyi’s efforts to build a civilized city.
Ma Xiaolong, Deputy Secretary of the Party General Branch of Pengfei Group, delivered a mobilizing address, emphasizing that as the largest locally‑based private enterprise in China to rank among the Top 500, Pengfei Group must shoulder the responsibilities and uphold the mission of a major corporation. It must take the lead and set an example, with Party members playing a pioneering and exemplary role to guide and inspire all employees and the broader workforce. He also outlined three key requirements for Party members participating in volunteer activities: align thinking and build consensus on the initiative; adhere to established standards and complete assigned tasks; and strengthen leadership to pool collective efforts and drive the endeavor forward.

Subsequently, members of each Party branch proceeded to their designated areas to carry out sanitation cleanup. They collected litter and cigarette butts, filled tree pits with soil, and wiped down banners and signage. Upholding the Group’s time-honored tradition of tackling tough tasks without complaint, the Party members meticulously swept and cleaned, leaving no corner untouched.
Civilization is the character and underlying essence of a city, and building a civilized city requires the contribution of every individual. All Party members at Pengfei have taken proactive steps, demonstrating high morale, a scientific approach, and a pragmatic spirit, thereby providing solid practical support for creating a happy Pengfei and a beautiful Xiaoyi.
