At the dawn of 2020, a sudden outbreak of the novel coronavirus swept across China, disrupting the normal rhythms of work and daily life. Particularly since April this year, outbreaks have occurred repeatedly in many parts of Shanxi Province. Under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee, the provincial Party committee, and the municipal Party committee, a decisive battle against the epidemic is steadily advancing across the land of Shanxi. Guided meticulously by higher-level Party committees, the Pengfei Party General Branch has engaged in proactive planning, taken initiative, refined its strategies, and ensured rigorous implementation, thereby guaranteeing the smooth and orderly progress of both epidemic prevention and production operations within the factory premises. In this arduous struggle, the vast majority of Party members and cadres have led by example, pressing forward with courage and determination.
Starting April 10, at the call and encouragement of the Group’s Party General Branch, more than 80 Party members and active candidates voluntarily signed up to take on epidemic‑prevention duty shifts, doing their utmost to ensure the safety of the Group’s headquarters and all its factories and mines. Upon receiving the list of volunteers, the Group’s Party General Branch promptly established temporary Party branches under each affiliated factory and mine, ensuring that the Party flag flew high on the front lines of the fight against the pandemic.
Each Party member is a banner, and each Party branch is a fortress. In this battle fought without gunfire, the Party members and active candidates of all branches within Pengfei Group have stepped forward with concrete actions, proudly identifying themselves and shouldering their responsibilities. They consistently exemplify the vanguard role, ensuring that the Party flag flies high and the Party emblem shines brightly on the front lines of epidemic prevention and control.
