On April 8, Song Changhong, Deputy Director of the Bureau of Industry and Information Technology of Xiaoyi City, visited Pengfei Group to coordinate with Lü Xiaofang, Executive Deputy General Manager of Administration, on the implementation of two initiatives: epidemic prevention and control measures at the enterprise and the efforts to build a civilized city and a model enterprise.
On April 8, Song Changhong, Deputy Director of the Bureau of Industry and Information Technology of Xiaoyi City, visited Pengfei Group to coordinate with Lü Xiaofang, Executive Deputy General Manager of Administration, on the implementation of two initiatives: epidemic prevention and control measures at the enterprise and the efforts to build a civilized city and a model enterprise.
Lü Xiaofang welcomed the leaders of the Xiaoyi Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology and reported on the Group’s ongoing efforts to build a civilized enterprise. Song Changhong conveyed the notice mandating that enterprises conduct screening and control measures for personnel arriving in or returning to Xiaoyi from other regions, and commended Pengfei Group for its high priority placed on epidemic prevention and control.
Lü Xiaofang stated that, in response to the current epidemic prevention and control situation, Pengfei Group has strictly complied with the municipal government’s requirements, established a pandemic‑prevention office and a leading group office for epidemic control, and set up employee‑level epidemic‑prevention communication groups at all factories and mines to ensure that all preventive measures are effectively implemented. In addition, the company has tightened access controls for positions that frequently interact with external personnel—such as security, reception, and drivers—and conducts daily disinfection of office spaces and staff cafeterias, thereby safeguarding the health and safety of its employees.
Song Changhong offered recommendations on how Pengfei Group can further contribute as Xiaoyi City strives to become a model civilized city. He proposed establishing a dedicated task force for building a civilized enterprise, integrating this effort with epidemic prevention measures to ensure coordinated action across multiple departments; formulating a new work plan that addresses both software and hardware aspects, enhancing the aesthetic appeal and illumination of both internal and external environments; and developing a corporate‑culture‑based civility handbook that is closely aligned with daily production and life. These initiatives aim to bolster Xiaoyi City’s efforts to achieve civilized‑city status and to realize the vision of building a century‑old Pengfei Group.
