Have you contributed to building a civilized city today?
A city is beautiful because of its civilization. A company endures and thrives thanks to its culture of civility.
To further enhance the effectiveness of efforts to build a National Civilized City and actively create a new Xiaoyi characterized by blue skies, clean land, verdant mountains, and green waters, Pengfei Group has, in recent days, thoroughly implemented the municipal government’s decisions and arrangements for the decisive phase of the National Civilized City re‑assessment campaign. The Group has launched a citywide “Environmental, Ideological, and Spiritual Clean‑up” initiative and vigorously promoted the Pengfei Spirit, thereby launching a full‑scale offensive to secure Xiaoyi’s status as a National Civilized City.
Blazing a trail, transforming a city into a butterfly.
To ensure the orderly and effective advancement of work, group leaders led teams to conduct inspections of production sites at various plants and mines, as well as greenery within plant premises, ground cleanliness, safety signage, cafeterias, warehouses, and other areas, followed by a special meeting to address identified issues.
A “carpet‑style” nationwide environmental cleanup campaign has swept through Pengfei Group. Wherever there are blind spots, there are vulnerabilities, noted Zheng Peng, Chairman of the Board and President of Pengfei Group. He emphasized that only by aligning all initiatives across the company can management progress; and only when individuals enjoy good health can they cultivate a civilized mindset and spiritual culture, thereby achieving behavioral civility.
Meanwhile, the promotion of the Pengfei spirit is in full swing, with the corporate culture lecture team visiting each of Pengfei’s factories and mines to share inspiring stories, recount the company’s journey, and foster a deep sense of cultural immersion—energizing employees and igniting their drive to forge a brighter future.
Stepping into Pengfei’s factories and mines, we can truly feel that Pengfei is improving bit by bit and growing stronger with each passing day. The Pengfei spirit is no longer just a slogan; it guides all of us at Pengfei to move forward in unison and has led us to turn one “impossible” into reality, achieving one remarkable leap after another.
The pursuit of civility has no end—only a beginning. As Chairman Zheng Peng pointed out, mental hygiene and environmental cleanliness must align with tangible results; we must eradicate “outdated mindsets and bad habits,” for only by transforming our thinking can we truly improve our work.
Today, April 7, is also World Health Day. At this very moment, countless medical workers and volunteers are tirelessly fighting on the front lines to contain the pandemic and safeguard people’s lives and health. As epidemics, severe environmental pollution, and diseases continue to rise, Pengfei Group will further mobilize its employees and the broader community to build a robust red defense against the epidemic, leveraging efforts to promote civility and urban development to bolster pandemic prevention and control. The group is committed to fostering an environment in which everyone cares about and participates in city‑building initiatives and epidemic‑prevention efforts, striving to create a positive momentum in which these two endeavors advance in tandem.
