On March 28, Wang Yanfeng, Party Secretary and Director of the Shanxi Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment, led a delegation to conduct a field visit to Pengfei Group. Yang Jucái, Vice Mayor of Lüliang Municipal Government, Guo Qingzhi, Mayor of Xiaoyi City, and other leaders at provincial and municipal levels accompanied the inspection, while Zheng Peng, Chairman of the Board and President of Pengfei Group, extended a warm welcome.

At the centralized control center of Pengfei Coking Plant, the research team leveraged an integrated intelligent management and governance platform to gain a detailed understanding of the plant’s ultra‑low emissions retrofit achievements—covering uncontrolled emissions management, controlled emissions management, end‑to‑end upgrades to clean transportation systems, and the construction of monitoring and surveillance infrastructure—and then proceeded to the production site for an on‑site inspection.
Wang Yanfeng fully commended Pengfei Group’s achievements in proactively pursuing green, low‑carbon transformation and development, noting that at Pengfei, emissions are virtually invisible, noise is inaudible, and odors are undetectable. The group will also steadfastly uphold safety and environmental protection standards, ensuring that “Pengfei Green” becomes a defining hallmark of high‑quality development in the coal‑coking chemical industry in the new era.
