Pengfei Group organized all its cadres and employees to watch and study the report through various channels, gaining a deep understanding of its spirit.
The Government Work Report reviewed the year’s achievements in 2021 and set out the key projected targets and priority tasks for 2022. It stated that this year’s main development targets are: GDP growth of around 5.5%; creation of over 11 million new urban jobs; a consumer price increase of approximately 3%; and grain output maintained at no less than 1.3 trillion jin... The array of policies and measures was highly inspiring, prompting sustained applause throughout the venue.
“The 14th Five-Year Plan period is a critical window for achieving peak carbon emissions,” said Wang Jinnan, a deputy to the National People’s Congress and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. “We must sustain the positive momentum of advancing ecological and environmental protection in tandem with economic and social development, and continuously enhance the public’s sense of gain and well-being from cleaner skies, clearer waters, and greener mountains.”
“Dual Carbon” has become a central pillar of national policy. As an energy enterprise, Pengfei Group’s Pengwan Hydrogen Port Hydrogen Energy Industrial Park project is a key initiative through which the Group actively supports China’s “Dual Carbon” goals, contributes to Lüliang City’s energy transition, and fosters local economic development. Detailed plans have been drawn up for the early-stage deployment of hydrogen refueling stations and for industrial application scenarios. By the end of 2021, the project had already achieved its target of completing more than half of both the timeline and the construction scope, with commercial operations expected to commence in June 2022.
Pengfei Group will also, guided by the spirit of the Two Sessions, implement the new development philosophy, promote green development, and contribute to the early achievement of the strategic goals of carbon neutrality and peak carbon emissions.
On and off the stage, applause resounded; inside and outside the conference, dreams were in perfect harmony. Following the presentation, participants unanimously expressed that listening to the Premier’s report had bolstered their confidence and uplifted their morale.
The blueprint is being drawn, and the clarion call has sounded. As the report states, “China’s development has always advanced by rising to challenges, and the Chinese people possess the courage, wisdom, and strength to overcome any hardship or obstacle.” In the face of a complex, severe, and uncertain external environment, all members of Pengfei will take Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as their guiding principle, remain steadfast in confidence, tackle tough problems head-on, work diligently and pragmatically, and forge ahead with determination, striving unremittingly to make Pengfei a globally leading smart clean-energy enterprise and to realize the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation!
