On the morning of March 3, Xi Jianjie, Vice President of Pengfei Group and General Manager of the Materials Supply System, met at the headquarters with He Kai, Deputy General Manager of Ningxia Tiandi Benniu Industrial Group Co., Ltd., and his delegation. The two sides engaged in discussions and aligned their needs to further deepen cooperation and strengthen collaboration on equipment-related matters.
On the morning of March 3, Xi Jianjie, Vice President of Pengfei Group and General Manager of the Materials Supply System, met at the headquarters with He Kai, Deputy General Manager of Ningxia Tiandi Benniu Industrial Group Co., Ltd., and his delegation. The two sides engaged in discussions and aligned their needs to further deepen cooperation and strengthen collaboration on equipment-related matters. Relevant heads from the Materials Supply System’s Auxiliary Materials Procurement Department, Production Materials Department, and Equipment Procurement Department attended the meeting.
Ningxia Tiandi Beniu Industrial Group Co., Ltd. is a manufacturing base for fully mechanized mining equipment and one of the largest domestic R&D and production enterprises specializing in scraper conveyors. In 2021, it collaborated with two mines—one in the Qinqi area and one in the Huineng area—under Pengfei Group.
He Kai and his delegation highly commended Pengfei Group’s achievements in digital transformation and smart Party building, expressing strong confidence in the group’s growth prospects and potential within the industry. They also expressed their hope to further strengthen communication and carefully plan the next steps in equipment‑related cooperation.
Xi Jianjie welcomed Ningxia Tiandi Beniu Industrial Group for coming to discuss potential cooperation. He noted that Pengfei Group has long placed great emphasis on digital and intelligent transformation as well as Party‑building efforts. Today, its materials‑supply system comprises 21 procurement officers and five department heads; this reduction in headcount is precisely a benefit brought about by digitalization. Xi further stated that, with respect to strategic supplies, Chairman Zheng Peng has mandated the selection of suppliers ranked among the top five or even the top three domestically. The decision to continue collaborating stems from Ningxia Tiandi Beniu’s outstanding reputation in the industry, its strong overall capabilities, and its clear brand advantages. As Pengfei Group operates more than ten coal mines, it has substantial demand for on‑site equipment and scraper conveyors, leaving ample room for expanded cooperation. He expressed hope that both sides will continually deepen and broaden their partnership.
Prior to the meeting, He Kai and his delegation visited the 5G+ Central Dispatch and Command Management Platform and the Digital Exhibition Hall, and personally experienced the touch‑screen all‑in‑one terminals as well as the Party‑spirit assessment quiz.
