On January 11, Pengfei Group and Shanxi Provincial Coal Geology Exploration and Mapping Institute Co., Ltd. held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony, officially establishing a strategic partnership. Zheng Peng, Chairman of the Board and President of Shanxi Pengfei Group, and Jiang Rong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shanxi Geological Group, attended the ceremony alongside the core teams from both sides.
Under the witness of Wang Xuejun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Shanxi Provincial Bureau of Geological Exploration, Zhang Xuanming, Vice President of the Group and General Manager of the Coal Division, and Tian Zhongbin, Deputy General Manager of Shanxi Geological Group, signed a strategic agreement on behalf of their respective sides and posed for a commemorative photo.
Wang Xuejun stated that this marks the first external collaboration since the Provincial Party Committee established the Geological Group, and it carries significant importance. He expressed the hope that both sides will engage in in-depth, diversified cooperation—not merely in form, but more importantly in substance. Pengfei Group will serve as the “problem setter,” while the Geological Group will act as the “answerer.”
Jiang Rong stated that this signing marks the beginning of a new chapter in the two parties’ collaboration, characterized by deep integration, complementary strengths, and mutually beneficial outcomes. The Institute of Geophysical Survey will provide Pengfei Group with end-to-end technical support and precision services across the entire lifecycle, covering areas such as high-resolution structural exploration in mining, mine geology, and surveying and mapping. Together, the two sides will advance hand in hand and create a shared future of success!
Chairman Zheng Peng stated that the signing of a strategic agreement between Shanxi Geological Group and the Shanxi Provincial Coal Geology Exploration and Mapping Institute at Pengfei is both a significant and auspicious event. As 2022 marks the inaugural year for advancing planned, technology-driven exploration—serving as both a starting point and a benchmark year—it is imperative to rapidly and on a large scale train geological survey personnel, thereby ensuring that Pengfei Group achieves scientifically sound planning, accurate production forecasts, safe and efficient operations, and long-term, stable growth.
