Recently, Xiaoyi Shengshi Fuyuan Methanol Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was recognized by the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology as a 2021 provincial-level smart manufacturing demonstration enterprise.

Xiaoyi Shengshi Fuyuan Methanol Manufacturing Co., Ltd. primarily utilizes coke oven gas—a byproduct of the 1.92-million-ton-per-year coking unit operated by Xiaoyi Pengfei Industrial Co., Ltd.—to produce methanol and LNG. The company’s production capacity stands at 300,000 tons of methanol and 150,000 tons of LNG per year. Its production process encompasses key steps including oxygen‑enriched gasification, wet desulfurization, decoking oil removal, gas holder operation, feed gas compression, temperature swing adsorption (TSA), fine desulfurization, MDEA-based decarbonization, drying and liquefaction, syngas compression, methanol synthesis, methanol rectification, and pressure swing adsorption (PSA) for hydrogen recovery.
