Recently, the Shanxi Provincial Department of Science and Technology recognized a number of provincial-level demonstration bases and enterprises for the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements. Xiaoyi Pengfei Industrial Co., Ltd. was designated as a provincial demonstration enterprise for the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements in the coal‑chemical sector.

Recently, Pengfei Methanol Plant was recognized by the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology as a provincial-level smart manufacturing demonstration enterprise for 2021. Meanwhile, Liu Feng’s digital intelligence team and Suo Shengfu’s team working on the Pengwan Hydrogen Port hydrogen energy industrial park project were both designated as outstanding talent teams in Xiaoyi City.
In 2021, Pengfei Group made its debut on the China Top 500 Enterprises list, ranking 354th; it also secured a place on the 2021 China Energy (Group) Top 500 list at No. 59; and was listed at No. 166 among China’s Top 500 Private Enterprises, No. 87 in the Top 500 Private Manufacturing Enterprises, and No. 37 in the Top 500 Chinese Petroleum and Chemical Enterprises—each marking the highest ranking for a Shanxi-based private enterprise in 2021. With its strong performance, Pengfei is contributing to Shanxi’s development.
