Zhang Yunpeng, Member of the Standing Committee of the Xiaoyi Municipal Party Committee and Head of the Organization Department, accompanied the visit, while Zheng Peng, Chairman of the Board and President of Pengfei Group, extended the welcome.
The research delegation visited the 5G+ Central Dispatch and Command Management Platform and the digital exhibition hall, with particular focus on gaining an in-depth understanding of the Pengfei Hydrogen Energy project’s construction and planning.
Li Zhongyuan highly commended Pengfei’s achievements in digital transformation, emphasizing the need for closer collaboration between the company and the think tank. He expressed hope that Pengfei would leverage its resource advantages and industrial foundation to seize the new opportunities presented by the 14th Five-Year Plan and continue contributing to local economic development.
Chairman Zheng Peng expressed his hope to leverage the province’s think tank network to help Pengfei attract higher‑quality resources, thereby paving a new path for the company’s high‑quality transformation and development.
In the afternoon, the research team also conducted on-site visits to the methanol plant and the Pengwan Hydrogen Port Hydrogen Energy Industrial Park, accompanied by Zhang Youquan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of the Xiaoyi Economic Development Zone, and Lei Zhengrong, Vice President of the Group and General Manager of the Coking Division.
