A delegation from the Provincial People’s Congress representing the Lüliang electoral district paid a visit to Pengfei for an inspection and research tour.

On December 5, Sun Jinjun, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Lüliang Municipal People’s Congress, accompanied by a delegation of more than 40 members from the provincial People’s Congress representing the Lüliang electoral district, paid a visit to Pengfei’s integrated methanol–LNG and synthetic ammonia production base. The delegation was received by Li Diansheng, Director of the Xiaoyi Municipal People’s Congress Standing Committee, and Hou Denghu, Deputy Director, who joined them on the tour. Chairman Zheng Peng extended a warm welcome and provided an overview of the company’s operations. The delegation toured Pengfei’s green‑factory campus and gained insights into the company’s current development trajectory at the central control center. Chairman Zheng Peng gave the delegation a detailed briefing on Pengfei’s green‑development strategy in the coal‑coking chemical industry, its closed‑loop, end‑to‑end industrial chain, and the world‑class processes and state‑of‑the‑art equipment employed across every stage—from coking to chemical processing—as well as the environmental and economic benefits that far surpass those of conventional technologies. In turn, Director Li Diansheng highlighted Pengfei’s pivotal role as a leader and benchmark in the province and in Lüliang’s coal‑coking chemical sector, particularly in driving green development and industrial upgrading. He also emphasized that the standing committee’s targeted research efforts will focus on key projects and enterprises like Pengfei—those at the forefront of reform and innovation—thereby providing robust support for their sustained, healthy growth.

The delegates engaged in discussions with Chairman Zheng Peng on the full‑cycle utilization of by‑products and waste generated during the project’s production and operations, as well as on the company’s tax situation, and heaped high praise on Pengfei’s tightly integrated, resource‑efficient, end‑to‑end industrial chain. They unanimously agreed that Pengfei boasts advanced technologies, state‑of‑the‑art equipment, and meticulous management, while the project is fully aligned with national environmental protection policies, ensuring a steadily promising outlook for future development.
