On February 27, with the first lunar month still underway and the symposium on private enterprises having concluded successfully, Lüliang—known as the “Hydrogen Capital”—resounded with a powerful call. The city solemnly held a promotion and signing ceremony for hydrogen‑energy industry cooperation projects, attended and addressed by Xiong Yizhi, Deputy Secretary of the Lüliang Municipal Party Committee and Mayor.
Xiong Yizhi stated that the time is right and the momentum is building for the development of the hydrogen energy industry in Lüliang, promising significant opportunities and achievements. The Lüliang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government have introduced 15 robust support measures, established a dedicated annual fund of no less than RMB 100 million, and are concentrating resources on prioritized cultivation to accelerate the sector’s rapid growth. Looking ahead, they will provide the most attentive services, foster the most conducive environment, and offer full‑scale support to ensure the successful implementation and construction of projects. Working hand in hand with entrepreneurs, they aim to achieve mutual benefit and win‑win cooperation, boldly pioneering new frontiers in Lüliang’s hydrogen energy industry.
Zheng Peng, Chairman of the Board and President of Pengfei Group, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Lüliang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government for their resolute and swift commitment to advancing the private‑sector hydrogen energy industry. He stated that Pengfei’s core equipment manufacturing and complete‑vehicle assembly and testing production line, currently under construction, will officially begin operations at the end of March. Moving forward, the company will continue to leverage its position as the “chain leader” of Shanxi Province’s hydrogen energy industrial chain, attracting more upstream and downstream enterprises to invest and establish businesses in Lüliang, thereby building the nation’s only comprehensive hydrogen‑energy industrial ecosystem. The goal is to see hydrogen‑powered heavy trucks, buses, and shared bicycles—bearing the “Made in Lüliang” label—roll out across the country, helping Lüliang’s voice in the hydrogen‑energy era resonate on the global stage.
Shanxi Zhengwang Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Pengfei Group, signed the “Hydrogen-Powered Heavy-Truck Hydrogen Supply Cooperation Project” at the conference.
